What do you think it takes to maintain healthy skin?

I%26#039;d love to hear what people think it takes to maintain beautiful, healthy, glowing skin. Which products do you use? Makeup or no makeup? Any secrets you%26#039;d like to share with me?|||drink lots of water everyday....after a few weeks your skin will look dewy....





Exfoliate - especially if you have oily skin....i like the gycolic peels by Serious skin care (HSN.com or ebay)





Supplements like biotin might help.





Cut way down on sugar and eat healthy foods.





Light makeup always looks best. make up is not supposed to look like make up... Just use a cover stick for any spots and then a light powder is enough.





For my skin type I like to use Vitamin A products.





It all depends on your skin type....is it dry or oily. young or old, are you black or white.....





I have heard that eating salmon is great for your skin also...|||nobody mentioned it but consuming adequate amounts of healthy oils (ie extra virgin olive oil, flax seed oil, fish oil caps) keeps your skin from getting dry and flaky and is good for your health in general. Report Abuse

glycolic acid should be applied only by pros, use a gentle exfoliant at home

|||stay hydrated - drinking lots of water/juice. take vitamin e capsules. also showering/bathing less frequently and/or not using harsh commercial soaps. i suggest using all natural types of soap that don%26#039;t contain harsh chemicals. your natural body oils are there for a reason. Report Abuse
|||know that everyone%26#039;s skin is unique and to find what works for you... for me, what works the best is daily cleanser, toner, and moisturizer. then, once a week to exfoliate, which helps keep the skin nice and smooth... i love arbonne international! Report Abuse

|||I know this sounds gross, but it truely works. Vaseline. If you put this on your face at night while you sleep, within a day, you will see the difference it makes on your skin. It also also good for any dry skin areas that you have, ie: elbows, knees, hands, feet. Report Abuse
|||Although i like the answers that Jenn and Will E gave, I would still have to say that eating healthy and excercise not only works to slim the body down on the inside but it also improves the outside as well. |||i heard if you eat a good ammount of salmon in your diet it gives you glowing skin but dont take it from me im no expert|||Keep your skin clean and don%26#039;t use soap.. there are many good facial washes out there.. for all skin types.


Make up is fine as long as its made not to clog pores, and remember to wash it off every night..


Its never too early to start daily moisture cream with sunscreen and another before bed..


If you get any zits,, don%26#039;t pick at them.. ever!!


And stay outta the sun!!


Tans might look good, but cancer suits nobody..


If you want a nice glow, there are products that will help you do this.. check them out!


And if you can go for a facial and ask some advice from them on your skin type...will make you feel good too!|||hi elle, what it takes to maintain healthy skin is eating healthy, drinking a lot of water, showering with a cream soap, not a sports bar, deodorant bar or anything harsh, then using a good moisturizing lotion, nothing greasy. i hope this helped! :)|||Get yourself a good night of sleep.
