It%26#039;s painless and you won%26#039;t have to worry about the scratches or her getting her nails trimmed.|||wear gloves and long clothing so you dont react to her scratching, think about how your holding her does she feel secure. she could be stresed so try feeding her while you hold her on achair next to you so she realises it is nice and keep doing it for short periods of time. definately protect your self with thick clothes or gloves as every time you put her down after scratching she has learnt how to make you put her down, if you dont react she woint keep doing it as long as she is still supported

What is the best moisturizing cream for dry, sensitive skin?
I%26#039;ve tried most of the moisturizers out there, but none seem to work. When my skin becomes dry, it tends to be flaky. Also, if I find greasy moisturizers, my skin tends to break out, and then I have to use acne cream which makes my skin even drier and more sensitive.|||I also have bery sensitive skin. I will use Eucerin if I have too but what I really like is Aveeno.|||Aveena Skin Smoothing Cream - fantastic.

How do I get rid of the very dry skin around my elbows?
What kind of lotion can I use that is perferbly found at wal-mart. Or a home remedy For my icky elbows?|||The best thing is olive oil. Olive oil used on the skin immediately after a shower will work wonders and will keep your joints happy too. Should only take a week or 2 of consistent use.

How do you get the sticky ring off your skin that bandages leave?
I had surgery and my wounds are still healing so i cant scrub with soap and water. I need a gentle effective way to remove the stick outside ring what the medical bandages left on my skin. I hope you know what im talking about. I have a outline of a band aid around my wounds. I have been taking showers regularly for the past week and gently washing where I was cut, but that alone wont get it off.|||usually a little Vaseline will remove the sticky just rub it on it should remove the sticky you may need to massage it a bit to get it to come off but it should not take much . If not try a small cotton swab with a bit of goo off on it ... just be very careful as this is citrus based and can also burn if the skin is sensitive ..The other stuff while correct will remove will burn like mad if you get it in to the openings of your wound . Also the skin that was taped with a bandage will be tender .. |||A great little natural product for the skin called Removeez. How do I get rid of the dry, cracked skin between my breasts?
I have large breasts, and for years now I%26#039;ve dealt with a rough patch of skin between them, from sweating and such. No matter what I do or use, it won%26#039;t go away. When I scrub with a loofa, or body scrub, it gets very irritated and sore, and creams just don%26#039;t seem to help.|||Vaseline will help it, just put a little on in the morning and before going to bed.
How can I have clearn and clear looking body skin?
Look at the actors: Brad Pitt etc: they%26#039;re all buffed up with no hair, and very clean and clear looking skin on their bodies. Mine has freckles etc. How can I make it look nice and clear?|||there are things you can do but know this, noone is perfect, and those photos you see of brad pitt looking all smooth its most probably been digitally touched ( airbrushing ) to achieve clean clear skin, i recomend that you exfolitate your body with an apricot scrup and a lofa 3 x a week, as this removes the dead layer on the epidermis ( skin) revealing smooth brighter skin underneath.
you see we are constantly sheeding dead skin cells and they sit on the top surface of the skin, by exfoliating you are removing the dead skin and helping to stimulate the blood to produce more helathy looking skin underneath.
then you follow up on a good moisturiser, somthing that is not to greasy as it will probably just sit on top of the skin instead of nourishing beaneath it. it also may cause you to break out if you have oily skin.
but the best thing to do to achieve Healthy skin is to drink lots of water and eat lots of healthy food ( veges and fruit) and to excersise, water keeps you hydrated fruit produces AhAS ( ALPHA HYDROXY ACIDS) which is like a natural exfoliant, and excersise helps keep the blood pumping to help stimualte healthy cell renewal plus it makes you nfeel better inside
hope this helps|||I would highly suggest investing in the Clean %26amp; Clear Acne Kit. It works wonders in helping to eliminate acne as well as preventing blemishes from forming. I wouldn%26#039;t suggest it if it didn%26#039;t work and it really helped me.
Also, if you have body acne, use a Neutrogena Acne Free Body Wash. It%26#039;s OK to have freckles, some people have them and some don%26#039;t, they%26#039;re still beautiful.

What clinique products do you use to keep your skin healthy?
like i want a routine for morning and night but i dont have one. i heard clinique is really good for healthy skin
my skin is oily. with very little acne. some acne scars. i use mac makeup but i dont really know about how to keep it healthy
i dont know much about mousiterizers or cleansers or any of that. all i do is apply the makeup then wash it away.
so help me?|||Well I%26#039;ve been struggling with acne nice I was 13 so for 5 years now. I used to have oily skin and just a bad complexion. (I even stopped using anything when I was 16 because I thought I didnt need it anymore. boy was I wrong) .
I found out that the best way to get results for me was: In the morning I do a facial scrub, I use St. Ives Apricot Scrub for oily skin (costs like 7 dollars and last an average of 2-3 months depending on how often you use it), then I dry it off with a towel, then I use a lotion with SPF protection, there is a wide variety at any drugstore or store and THEN apply makeup once its dry obviously.
At night thats when I take the big guns out because most products suggest to not be exposed to sunlight while wearing the products .
1. If Im wearing any make up I used the Clean %26amp; Clear Foaming Facial Cleanser because its a great way to remove your makeup =] (costs about 6 dollars and lasts about 2-3 months),
2. I then use Queen Helene Refining Pomegranate %26amp; Rasberry Natural facial scrub its extremely soft on your skin and smells REALLY good (I buy it for four dollars at Sallys and lasts about 4-5 months because its a pretty thick consistency, you dont need TOO much of it)!
3. Then I use the Clean and Clear Continuous Control Acne Cleanser which makes your face feel very very fresh (its about 7 dollars and again lasts about 2-3 months).
4.And finally lets say you have an annoying pimple one day and you HATE it, and just want to take it off I used the Clean %26amp; Clear Persa-Gel 10 its great but just use a little bit on the area I personally go to sleep with it, and in the morning when I wake up I see a difference (just dry it before you go to sleep, or you can follow what it says in the back of the small bottle, so apply 1-3 times a day and take it off each time) this product is also about 7 dollars and lasts a loonngg time, I%26#039;ve had mine for... 7 months already.
It seems like a lot of facial scrubs and stuff, but its really worth it! I know these products arent Clinique, but I tried Clinique and didnt really work for me, maybe if it doesnt work for you this could be a nice alternative! Just remember to not go outside without a good sunscreen on you!
I hope I helped!

Is it possible to have something living on your skin that bites you?
Ok, so for about three months I%26#039;ve though I had bedbugs. Two weeks ago the exterminator came and set up traps to catch the suckers, but we haven%26#039;t caught anything yet. Also, I went home to see my family for the weekend and I got bitten there as well.
There haven%26#039;t been any signs of bedbugs (no excrement, no blood stains on the sheets). My cat sleeps in the same bed that I do but he does not get bitten. So I%26#039;m wondering, is there something living on my skin that could be biting me?
The bites look just like misquito bites, but they shrink in size after a day or two and look like flea bites. I can%26#039;t feel myself getting bitten, but immediatly after I itch. I get bitten durring the day (but this could be because of bedbugs in my clothes?) as well as at night, but no one visiting my apartment has been bitten.
I%26#039;m at a complete loss, but I%26#039;ve been getting bites for almost 3 months now and I%26#039;m at my wits end. If you have any insight, please share!|||I went through that many years ago when my parents gave me an old mattress. You have to get rid of the mattress and fumigate your place and wash all your clothes and bed linens in hot water. what I would try is getting some lice shampoo and rubbing it on them, follow the directions on the box, itll probably say leave it on there for 10 minutes or so, then wash it off in the shower, that should help a little bit, then in a week, repeat that again.

What is the best thing to put on your skin to stop it from peeling and to get the redness out from a sunburn?
My cheek bones, nose, and forehead got burned about three days ago and its still really red and is beginning to peel.|||Actually, you cant stop the peeling. When your skin burns that badly the skin dies and releases from the layer underneath it. It has to come off. I recommend using some good aloe lotion for now, and be sure to use suncreen in the future.|||aloe vera lotion... works awsome... I would just keep putting the lotion on. If its peeling, peel it as quick as you can....|||Well, vinegar will draw out the burn. Nothing will stop the skin from peeling, it has to in order for you to heal the dead skin has to go away. Use aloe vera to prevent your face to moisturize and help the skin peel more quickly. It will peel if the skin is dead, and its healthy to let it peel off. It is a dead skin, you do not want to leave it on your skin. Sun bathing is very good, you get enough vitamine D from the Sun, but make sure to drink LOTS and LOTS of water. and do not stay out too long. But do short frequent session instead. This may prevent you from getting red and peeling. You may have been getting too much sun at one time.

How can I cover up the peeling of the skin on my face?
I%26#039;m in the middle of an allergic reaction. My face is still itchy, but its starting to peel a lil bit. I don%26#039;t want to show my face peeling at work. How do I cover it up without using make up? Can I use vaseline?|||Vaseline will be very noticeable on ur face. But DO put it on at nite while u sleep. It%26#039;ll super moisturize your skin, and make it way less peely during the day. Also, you can put the vaseline on when u get home from work. The longer it%26#039;s on, the better it%26#039;ll be for you. I use this trick all the time. Good Luck!
*During the day at work, just put a lot of lotion on.|||Well you can put lotion on your face before dabbing a bit of powder on it. If you use foundation the peeling is gonna look bad. Using powder make up is better. And right after putting on the powder try dabbing some more lotion on top of it. Try doing this at home by yourself and if it works then your off..|||eeek. vaseline will make you break out.

How can I get rid of my dry flakey skin?
I usually have naturally oily skin, I always have done and I%26#039;m very prone to spots because of it.
But in the last few weeks my skin has been completely dry and is literally peeling off my face. I use exfoliators and a lot of moisturiser, and I sometimes use a microderbabrasion scrub, but nothing seems to remove the flakey skin, and it just dries out straight away.
What can I do to stop it? Could I be lacking vitamins or something?|||Dryness doesn%26#039;t only occur at the surface of the skin. The deep layers of living skin cells (the dermis) also dries out.
So a moisturizer alone will not work.
A moisturizer will only treat the surface layer. But your face can still feel tight and dry after.
Instead look for a deep moisturizing serum. This will be more appropriate.
A Serum is designed to penetrate deeply into the skin. Therefore it can supply moisture to both the surface and the dermis.
So instead of only using a moisturizer also consider a serum.|||my skin is the same. i just keep my face moisturized by using this lotion called Merlot Grape Seed face lotion. you can get it at Walgreens. it works and makes your skin feel very light without all that excess oily feeling. also, use a scrub face wash with the beads in it to help scrub the skin off. sometimes this happens bc of the weather change, like i get dry skin when winter arrives.|||Try washing your face on a daily basis with a neutral shop and warm water. When your skin is clean apply a simple moisturising facial cream like %26quot;Avene riche%26quot; (It%26#039;s the one I use and I find it very comforting on extra dry skin)|||Try Aquaphor Healing Ointment. What should I do to eliminate blotchiness in my skin?

What do you do with large pimple deep under skin?
I have a cyst-like pimple on my chin and it is under my skin. Its big and it feels gross. Its too deep in my skin to try to pop it. What can I do to get rid of it?|||First of all.. Do NOT pop it.
It will lead to scarring and it may spread.
Just leave it alone and try to go to a doctor/dermatologist.
And keep your skin clean.
I learned this the hard way :/|||Don%26#039;t pop it. You could push anything in it further into the pore and make it worse. Try putting an ice pack on it to reduce swelling, take aspirin and leave it alone. If you can afford it go to the dermatologist and he can give you a steroid shot that will get rid of it in 24 to 48 hours. Otherwise you could be stuck with it for about a week or so.|||go to doctor
but if you must pop it.
dont squeeze it, lance it with a clean sharp object

What would be a good method for coloring my skin black?
I need my skin to be pitch black for a show I%26#039;ll be performing in. I%26#039;m looking for something that looks natural and won%26#039;t shine under a stage light like I%26#039;m sure black face paint would. Would charcoal be of any use, and does anyone know of any good places in Madison, Milwaukee, or Janesville WI where I could get black stage makeup (as that would probably be ideal)? Also, any other suggestions would be great. Remember, I need a natural look (as natural as pitch black can be) and no shine.|||Actors in minstrel shows in the 1880%26#039;s used burnt cork ashes.|||I would recommend getting some non shine normal black wall paint and paint your whole body (just don%26#039;t get it in your eyes, mouth, etc) and when it dries spray yourself with hairspray, this will reflect any light and also dull the color down and make it stay. good luck!

What kind of makeup should i wear with my skin tone and eye color?
I have tanned skin and hazel eyes. What color of; lip gloss, blush, and eye shadow would be good for me?
Any ideas/suggestions. Thanks. :)|||i would go with a foundation that will automatically adjust to ur skin tone cause with tanned people, it can be hard to find a shade that matches your tan color. no blush or anything else, just foundation. if you wear blush while your tanned, it looks really wierd. for hazel eyes, it can vary. L%26#039;Oreal has some eye shadows that they make for all eye colors, and they really make your eyes pop. a light pink or peach gloss would look great with tanned skin.|||Hazel eyes work nice with almost all colours, especially browns/bronze/plum colours. Your cheeks should be contoured slightly and a dash of bronze will really look nice. Your lips colour should be around nude/light pink/peach. Smile and be confident with yourself. Peace.|||For lip gloss I would suggest a medium pink shade, like watermelon from Stila. Blush, something from the Tarte cheek stain collection. Any color works wonders%26lt;3

How do i get rid of chaffing of my skin?
Lately I%26#039;ve working out a lot to lose weight, and recently when I walk on the treadmill my thighs rub against each other and cause chaffing(sp?). I do wear shorts and understand that i might have to wear longer pants, but that%26#039;s not the case cause I tried it. What can I use as far as medication, ointments, etc. , to make it not irratate me so bad?|||longer pants help me, but they cant hang to low in thr crouch or they defeat the purpose. The other thing that helps sometimes is baby powder. Then if my thighs are already chapped, letting them air out and dry off helps a lot. So after you shower, if you have time. go lay down w/o pants on. Sounds like oooh. But think, what is the best thing to do for diaper/heat rashes. What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake?
What color skin tone looks the most beautiful without looking fake? I tried a self bronzer and it was awful. I looked like an orange, litterally. So, I know bronzers don%26#039;t look all natural but do tan people look as beautiful as medium skinned people? I know a natural sun tan is absolutely gorgeous, but are you ugly if you aren%26#039;t mexican looking dark?|||Whaaat?
I think it%26#039;s just the bronzer..
I%26#039;m %26#039;medium skinned%26#039; I guess (my picture is darker then I actually am) but I%26#039;m still pale.. I think it has to do with the individual... just try going to a salon if you really want one but you can also use those self tanners or go to a spray-tan place OR you could buy a good bronzer (victoria secret%26#039;s bronzers) that isnt all colour but also has glowing stuff in them.
What are you kidding? I have family that are %26#039;mexican looking dark%26#039; and they all wish they were lighter (yeah unfortunately, some people are retarded like that). Be happy with your skin colour. I wish I was darker too but you need to be happy with yourself!
btw, getting a tan isn%26#039;t gonna change your skin tone. If youre not olive then youre not olive, no point in pretending like you are|||I think that the media is showing more and more lighter skinned women and how beautiful light skin can be. Tans out of a bottle are by far the safest..any tan from the sun is damaging to your skin. Try this link for some of the best sunless tanners.

What kinds of products help get rid of oily skin?
I don%26#039;t really have a big problem with acne. Once in a while I will get a pimple but it%26#039;s not that big. My main concern is oily skin. How do I help my boyfriend clear up his skin?

1. switch from shaving cream to daily wash Noxzema skin cream and to apply it to his entire face - he just shaves like normal.
2. take a daily multivitamin with at least 15 mg of zinc (needed for secondary sexual characteristics in young men) this is particularly important if he does not eat a lot of green vegetables. This is extracted from a M.D. guide to skin conditions for actual treatment options.
3. Purchase a red light bulb (s) and have him replace a major light in a room that he actually spends time in. Red light - actually kills much of the bacteria that can cause the black heads. I stole this from a Danish researcher.....
4. Finally and I mean this with all compassion - tell morons who believe skin blemishes are caused from not washing to go get bent....I watched an OCD young woman wash the skin off her face because her parents told her that. For this to happen a strong source of UV would be needed (eg a sunny day) and this would raise temperature and accelerate the decay process. So. it is debatable whether the dominant effect observed would be the tanning or the decaying.

How far can the body go with tightening the skin naturally around the abdomen after weight loss?
I currently weigh 227 pounds and am progressing towards a goal weight of between 145-160. How terrible of a time will I have with loose skin around my abdomen? I see people who get gastric bypass and am appalled by the excess skin they have and terrified that I%26#039;ll look like that (of course these people weighed a considerable amount more than I do before surgery, but it%26#039;s still scary to see!) I am only doing about 50 crunches a day along with one hour a day of exercising to meet my goal weight over a span of a year. I%26#039;ve cut my calories I ingest down to 1,200 a day as well. Thanks for your help.|||It has very little to do with how you lose the weight and more to do with your age and how much your skin has stretched. Do you have stretch marks around your middle? Skin with stretch marks is permanently compromised and will not shrink back all the way on its own no matter what you do. The more stretch marks you have, the less it will tighten back up on its own. It%26#039;s an unfortunate fact of life. However, since you%26#039;re trying to lose less than 100 pounds it shouldn%26#039;t be too big of a problem for you. Also, the younger you are, the more elastic your skin is. Being young helps.
Also, the loose skin problem happens no matter how you lose the weight. I went from 370 to 170 in the two years after gastric-bypass surgery and I have extra skin over my torso, upper arms and thighs. My boyfriend went from 375 to 230 over the course of two and a half years doing nothing but diet and exercise and he has the exact same problem in his belly. Being male, he was able to fill the stretched skin in his arms and legs back out with muscle.
Loose skin isn%26#039;t pretty, but don%26#039;t let it deter you from losing weight. The health benefits of losing the weight outweigh the cosmetic results. Plus, plastic surgery can fix the skin problem - only losing weight will improve your health.
The good news - because there are so many gastric-bypass patients with this problem, there is now a whole sub-speciality of plastic surgery dedicated to reconstructive surgery after massive weight loss and they%26#039;re getting better and better all the time. What actually helps with acne & gentle enough for sensitive skin?
I usually break out around this time of the month** and its getting a little difficult to get rid of these damn zits... My skin is also kind of sensitive which means I can%26#039;t use really harsh products or remidies... Any suggestions?|||You will have to try different products to see what your skin can tolerate. I have found there are a lot of products that state %26quot;gentle%26quot; on the name, that are not harsh and do a good job. Some do burn my face or dry out my skin. I just give those to my teenager that doesn%26#039;t have sensitive skin. Wash your face twice a day. Don%26#039;t go to sleep with makeup on....EVER!
Skin Ceuticals Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a great product. It%26#039;s available at spas, dermatologist offices, but I get mine on eBay for much less. It%26#039;s pricey still. I use Renti-A creme from the dermatologist, but I can%26#039;t seem to use any sort of face cleaners that come from the store because they literally burn my face! I knew it was all of the stupid extra crap that they put in those cleansers. About a year ago, I found this store on Ebay called S N Soap that makes homemade soaps. Homemade products can be much easier on the skin because they use all natural ingredients. There%26#039;s no alcohol, no scyllic acid, no detergents, so it%26#039;s gentler on the skin. And their prices are pretty cheap. Nothing over about $3.75. And if you take care of the soaps, they%26#039;ll last pretty darn long! They have a lot to choose from, so it%26#039;ll probably help to order a few at first, try them, and see which one you like the best. Personally, I love their %26quot;detox%26quot; soap. It helps even out the skin tone on my face by taking out all the redness. And it really helps make the zits less noticeable. it also doesn%26#039;t overdry my skin, which I really like. I did a reorder of my soaps and bought a few new varieties to try out. I just got them today so I can%26#039;t wait to try them! The raspberry sorbet smells delicious! (There%26#039;s a LOT of people that sell soaps on Ebay. But I like this store because they list every ingredient that they use is every single soap. They also also do an amazing job of describing what each ingredient does.)
And NO, I don%26#039;t work for them, or even know them. I just LOVE them!|||Try eating non-greasy food. That got rid of my acne in 7 weeks.
Skin Ceuticals Gentle Foaming Cleanser is a great product. It%26#039;s available at spas, dermatologist offices, but I get mine on eBay for much less. It%26#039;s pricey still. Aveeno makes a good cleanser. Cetaphil or the store brand is good, too, but I don%26#039;t think it does as good of a job removing dirt and oil, which you need to prevent the acne.
You will still get some, and as you get older, they will be fewer and further between. Just don%26#039;t squeeze them or pick at them. They heal MUCH faster than if you pop it. Put a dab of toothpaste on the pimple at night to help dry it up faster. Why rinse skin with water when you get acid on your hand rather than a base to neutralize it?
It may seem like a stupid question because i know to rinse with water but im not sure why.|||Water is usually available everywhere and dilutes most chemicals. The idea is to remove the acid as rapidly as possible to minimize skin damage. There is not time to hunt for a neutralizing agent, use water or wipe the stuff off as much as possible. In emergency response procedures, the concept is to go with the simplest, fastest solution to eliminate or diminish the problem.
Can somebody suggest a good facial cleanser for combinations skin?
I%26#039;m getting married in September and would like to start with a regement for my skin. I have combination skin, oily yet dry and would like the know if you any of you have any suggestions for face wash, exfoliant, moisturizer and toner?|||i have the same skin type, so its tough. i play a lot with different products but i%26#039;ve recently found that using a cold cream at night cleanses %26amp; isn%26#039;t too harsh, plus it removes makeup %26amp; leaves skin soft. in the morning i use honey as a cleanser because it has antioxidants and antibacterial properties again without being too harsh and it get the job done. as for toners, witch hazel or rose water works well. i exfoliate once a week with a combination of sugar and olive oil.|||The Body Shop Products work great!.. What type of tanning bed is best for fair skin that freckles?
I currently own a wolff tanning bed, but I find that I freckle a lot when I use it. Is there another type of bed which won%26#039;t freckle me as much?|||There sun rays if you want a tan. Less dangerous than a tanning booth...|||a low wattage bed....and be sure to start out slow and add a couple minutes every two days. If you get a little red, skip a day! If it%26#039;s nice outside on the weekend, put on sunscreen and spend some time outside...pick back up tanning during the week!|||there is no tanning bed that won%26#039;t freckle you when you use it and since you have fair skin that puts you at a huge risk for skin cancer. I would suggest only getting tan when you are outside doing things, take a bike or a run or something and wear shorts that way it will be all natural and then there is way less of a chance that you will get skin cancer.(keep in mind, that there is always risk of skin cancer when you are getting any UV rays though)|||NO tanning bed is best for fair skin. You have a huge risk of getting skin cancer even after one use of a tanning bed. Every time your skin gets dark, the more you are damaging it.|||Stop! Please don%26#039;t use a tanning bed anymore and you%26#039;ll thank me twenty years from now. I stopped tanning 15 to 20 years ago and I never had freckles on my legs (but lots on my arms %26amp; shoulders) but in the last few years they have just started popping up and now I have lots of them. Sun damage to your skin might not show up until years later and then it%26#039;s too late to do anything about it. If you want a tan use fake tanning lotion. They are much better than they were years ago when they turned you orange. I like Neutragena but there are several other brands you could try. Honestly do your skin a favor and stop tanning.
Is it a good idea to switch to another skin lightening product?
i have been using an asian product called essence white for about 2 months. it has been the fastest serum to whiten my dark spots. but the problem is the bottle is too small n the price is like $40. i have seen other skin brightening products that are cheaper, but does not work faster like essence white. i am a bit confused. is it time now to switch?|||Skin lightners (or %26#039;bleaches%26#039;) are chemically based. If you don%26#039;t allow enough time between products, you are mixing chemicals that could give you some really bad reactions or other problems. (Sorry, I can%26#039;t tell you exactly how long this is)
If the product you are using is effective, then make the effort to find a way to keep using it. That%26#039;s obviously why it costs more: it works. Why switch back to something cheaper that you don%26#039;t like?
Have you considered a dermatologist?

How do I smoke a turkey, but keep the Skin Crispy and not rubbery?
I always smoke turkeys great and the rubbery skin does not bother me, But I have friends who prefer it to be crispy. What can I do? Thanks|||Properly smoked, the turkey skin will become a sort of paper-thin leather bag that is practically inedible -with the turkey inside.
And that simply means spending sufficient time in the smoker, exposed to the 180 - 220 degree smoky heat wafting across the bird -for hours on end. What happens is that the skin simply dries out and with no moisture left, it gets thin and papery.|||well Ive never smoked a turkey before but I would say try to keep your rolloing paper damp.lol|||Smoking does leave the outside skin rubbery, primarily cause you are cooking with indirect heat rather than directly. To smoke and make the skin crispy you%26#039;d need to artificially brown the turkey. This would add a step to what is already a long and laborious process, but I guess that before smoking the turkey you could butter baste the outside(or wrap it in butter basted cheesecloth) and run the thing though the oven for about hour at 25-50 degrees higher than regular roasting temp or until the outside is slightly brown and crisp. Then transition to the smoker

Thanks...|||for scars...it would probably be helpful to go see the dermatologist and get some prescription medication, you could also get other treatments for acne there
otherwise, I%26#039;ve heard that your skin can get addicted to Pro-activ, but some things that I%26#039;ve tried and that have worked are:
clean and clear
biore
avon
proactive
you can also get a benzoyl peroxide bar, which is supposed to help pimples, and i think salcylic acid (not sure of spelling) helps with some other things
but for acne in general, i don%26#039;t think that water works that well, but drinking lots of water, eating healthy, and exercise could certainly help
but really, asking a dermatologist could help a lot

How can I make Perfume last longer on my Skin?
My perfume seems to fade after a short period of time and nobody can smell it anymore. I usually wear oil based perfumes.
Does anyone have any tips for intensifiying the smell / making it last longer?|||Spray it on the bendy parts of your body,
ie. neck, elbows, knees, maybe hair so it swiiiishes around :D|||Save your money in a jar-use it to buy some high quality perfume.
I%26#039;m saving right now for a new bottle of Chanel Chance-because I miss that scent-I used to get the samples and just get my fix that way-now that I%26#039;m an adult-I must grow up and buy a bottle-it hurts-but I will smell nice.
Make sure that when you spray it on-you dont rub it in. This breaks down the actual scent-so just spritz in the areas you like-and dont rub wrists.|||No, there is no way.
Unless you stay indoors and don%26#039;t sweat.
What I do, is I carry perfume in my purse.
And what that girl said about the expensive ones, they don%26#039;t last long too.
I wear chanel, dior and marc jacobs. They fade away supper fast.
It just depends on the amount of activity and how much you sweat.|||If the perfume you wear also comes in a body lotion, apply the lotion first and then top with the perfume. Get the smallest size of the perfume to keep in your purse for touchups through the day/night.|||there is no special way to do that..only the really nice and expensive perfumes last that long
Edit : i have used..ralph lauren...calvin klien and bvlgari...even after 8 hrs of applying it...even strangers have come and asked me the name of the fragrance i use

And it%26#039;s also a good idea to get a shade a little lighter than your skin so it doesn%26#039;t look like you%26#039;re wearing too much makeup.

And it%26#039;s also a good idea to get a shade a little lighter than your skin so it doesn%26#039;t look like you%26#039;re wearing too much makeup.

How do I get rid of a flaky dry skin rash on one of my eyelids?
I have had a rash on my left eyelid that comes and goes for years now but recently the rash came back and will not go away. I have tried hydrocortisone creams, lotion, vaseline, etc. and nothing helps. Has anyone else had this problem or know how to get rid of it?|||Check out the web site listed as my source. It sounds like you might have blepharitis.
I had blepharitis and the eye doc gave me some antibiotics and told me to use the eye cleanser pads you get at the drug store. These are quite expensive, so he approved my use of baby shampoo and water to cleanse my eyelids once or twice a day. It is very important to keep them clean to remove the bacteria.
As the source suggests, make an appointment with your eye doc. Good luck!|||i have been there and i am still there i have a cream but i dont use it cause its too moisy and i dont like moist things that and i have to first put neatrogena on and i cant find it Report Abuse

What kind of make up goes best with my skin tone?
If I%26#039;m a girl, what kind of make up goes best with my invisible skin tone? Would black eyeliner look best? And how do I put on the makeup when I can%26#039;t see where I%26#039;m putting it?|||i use %26quot;loreal%26quot; true match. this is the best in matching your skin type and color and looks natural too. don%26#039;t use black eye liner, unless your gothic. choose an invisible eye liner, also looks natural. apply make-up with a make-up sponge, just remember to thouroughly wash the sponge after each use as this can cause break outs from bacteria build up.|||Tips for great skin and good makeup

What is a good product or remedy for flaky skin?
I actually have pretty good skin. It doesn%26#039;t seem dry but there%26#039;s little flaky parts around and on my nose and on my cheeks. Moisturizer makes it disappear at first but doesn%26#039;t really help. It sometimes reappears when I put foundation or makeup on my face and if not, it does after wearing the makeup for a few hours.. If there%26#039;s nothing I can do that%26#039;s okay. But let me know what you think.|||That happens to my skin too!! It%26#039;s really annoying and if I let it go, it gets itchy. I use %26quot;BODY BUTTER%26quot; and if your skin is still flaky, use %26quot;AQUAFORE%26quot; I%26#039;m not positive of the spelling but it%26#039;s pronounced, aqua- for ... aqua (like water) + for (like the number)!!
The only big difference is that you can buy body butter in different smells and the aquafore all smells the same and it has more oils for making the skin not flake!! Hope that it helped!!! =) -wolf girl|||It could be your face wash that is drying out your skin especially if it%26#039;s one of those oil free acne wash type things. I like cetaphil cream, you can get it at any drug store pretty much, it has no fragrance in it so it won%26#039;t irritate your skin if it%26#039;s sensitive. Or if it%26#039;s reallly dry put some Eucerin aquaphor on it.|||Almond, vitamin e, or jojoba oil helps with flakiness. Apply a thin layer before bedtime and all of them should cause your skin to be really soft when you wake up.

Does your skin get lighter after a while when you haven't been outside?
I%26#039;ve been playing basketball lately and every time i come back home, my skin gets a lot darker and tanned. I usually play for about 4 hours everyday with sun light everywhere. Is it true that if you stayed home for about a month without going outside with direct sun contact, your skin will become lighter?|||yes that can happen. it does depend on your skin tone. if u have a darker skin tone and you havent been in the sun for a while, your right, you will get lighter|||Why yes it is true.|||A simple answer: Yes.
How do you know which hair colors fit your skin tone?
I have always wanted to dye my hair a dark red color kind of brownish but more red. I am a little concern that if i do that my skin tone won%26#039;t fit that color. I have a staph infection that I%26#039;ve had for years that comes and goes. I%26#039;m assuming that anit-bacterial soap is the best thing to clean with but how about body lotion. My skin is dry and I just can%26#039;t go without it. Is there a particular ingrediant I should look for. A certain brand. Also, the infection tends to leave scars, can I use a scar cream to help with that?|||go to the doctor and they will give u a shot of penicillin to stop the spread of the infection, put antibiotic ointment on it, rubbing alcohol around the infection, and change bandages every 4-8 hours, stay out of sunlight no more than 30 min. max because that can worsen the infection, try and stay away from people so they wont get it.

What is a good self tanner for olive toned skin?
I dont want to pick the wrong one and then look like an orange. I do want a golden looking tan.|||http://www.jergens.com/Our_Collection/Pr鈥?/a>
works like a dream, seriously!
i use it|||if you really want olive toned skin, then you won%26#039;t find any real results from a tanning lotion, they just arn%26#039;t reliable.
if you really want that kind of tan put actual olive oil on your skin like a lotion (not a thick layer, just enough to coat) and lay out in the sun for just a little while.
the oil will do 3 things, amplifiy the sun to give a quicker tan, but won%26#039;t increase a chance of burning.
dye your skin a little, it won%26#039;t (or shouldn%26#039;t) cause any ance (it didn%26#039;t on me and i get ance like crazy)
and it will also relax your muscles in a similar fasion to rubbing alcahol (but don%26#039;t try to use olive iol as a disinfectant)
it won%26#039;t take very long to tan and you can be assured of the results, its what the romans and greeks did.

What is causing these deep red spots on my skin?
I am very pale and every so often I get these 5mm red circles on my skin usually on my wrists. They look really weird and I do not what they are. They disappear and leave a white circle on my skin with a small red dot in the middle of the white circle, and every so often the red mark comes back and fills the white circle. This is really scareing me because I have not seen these marks before.

What is the date on a bottle of Designer Skin tanning lotion?
I just bought Hemphatic in the 400 ml bottle and there is a date (06/11/08) printed just like an expiration date so I was wondering if this is the date it was made or the date it expires... I hope not the latter!|||I worked at a tanning salon, they do expire, however the experation date doesn%26#039;t necessarily mean it has %26quot;gone bad%26quot;. That date is printed as an approximate date that the lotion MAY begin to %26quot;seperate%26quot;. It will not damage your skin, etc but it will not help you tan and if there are bronzers and those have seperated they may stain your skin unevenly.

It comes with a spounge but I recommend a cheap makeup brush for better applcation.|||Bare minerals...i swear by it! You can also sleep in it and won%26#039;t wake up with acne. Plus, it feels so light on your face, not like a pound of makeup that will melt off if you have oily skin. Truly recommend it!|||PHYS.FORMULA AND/OR NEUTROGENA, THAT ALL IMA SAY.|||bare minerals sweetheart
Is it possible for siblings to have very different skin color?
For instance, one having white skin and the other having black skin. Is this possible, like how siblings can have very different hair and eye colors?|||http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Yl6FzRGHN3…
Watch this video, it gives an example that shows that it is posible for a white couple to have a phenotypically black baby (african features) and for the vica versa to happen with a black couple and a white baby.
This is due to genes tracing back possibly hundreds of years. This white couple had a child that appers black and will grow up and be classed as an african american in society despite having white parents. Phenotypically his appearance is- Black, Genetically (DNA)- White.|||Yes it is possible, it all comes down to genetics... I have two brown hair brown eyed kids, and they always had very tan skin, and I also have two very blond headed blue eyed kids that are very fair skinned. You wouldn%26#039;t think that they are all related and have the same father, but they are and do have the same father. I have brown hair and brown eyes, and my skin has always had somewhat of a tan look to it. The kids father has brown hair and blue eye%26#039;s and his skin is fair looking. My father has brownish dark hair ( what little he has....) and brown eye%26#039;s and his skin always looks tan. So, I and the brown hair and brown eyed kids take after my dad, and the other two blonds, I cant tell who they take after to be honest with you. They don%26#039;t even look like they even belong to me....LOL... But I do know it all comes down to the gene pool. Best wishes|||Yea, its called cheating.
No but seriously this has been recorded, a year or so ago a women had fraternal twins, same mother and father. One came out white and the other black because some recessive trait from their great grand mother (who happened to be black) popped up and appeared in one of the twins.|||Yes. Happens all the time. I%26#039;m the darkest person in my family. I%26#039;m short and slim and cinnamon brown with very dark eyes. My sister is tall and very fair and curvy with green eyes. My dad and his sister are the same way. I have twin cousins (boy and girl) who are my age who are the same way (one dark and brown-eyed, one pale and green-eyed).|||Yes it is very possible. Genetics vary from child to child so while one might come out blond and blue eyed, they other may be dark and brown eyed. Especially in the case of interacial parents. It%26#039;s Bio 101 and can definitely happen.|||Different but not %26#039;very%26#039; different, yes. One of us brothers and sisters has a darker skin as well as another one have a lighter skin and we are all from the same set of parents although my mother had a lighter skin color than my father.|||my siblings have brown eyes blonde hair I am the youngest I have green eyes and black hair. One of my dads sisters has green eyes and dark hair,I am told I take after her.....or theres a skelee in mom%26#039;s closet, somewhere.|||Possibly, its because you were married with a person with a different background.|||yes ive seen so many cases where a child from a white father black mother has come out looking completely white, wile the sibling comes out mixed.|||Yes, it is possible. It is even more likely if the parents are of different races.|||Possible but not probable.|||There was a Biracial couple who had twins where one came out with white skin and the other came out with Black skin. How it happened? I honestly couldn%26#039;t tell you.|||Yes, absolutely. Skin color is controled by only one or two genes.|||Yes.
