I had surgery and my wounds are still healing so i cant scrub with soap and water. I need a gentle effective way to remove the stick outside ring what the medical bandages left on my skin. I hope you know what im talking about. I have a outline of a band aid around my wounds. I have been taking showers regularly for the past week and gently washing where I was cut, but that alone wont get it off.|||usually a little Vaseline will remove the sticky just rub it on it should remove the sticky you may need to massage it a bit to get it to come off but it should not take much . If not try a small cotton swab with a bit of goo off on it ... just be very careful as this is citrus based and can also burn if the skin is sensitive ..The other stuff while correct will remove will burn like mad if you get it in to the openings of your wound . Also the skin that was taped with a bandage will be tender .. |||A great little natural product for the skin called Removeez. Works on all kinds of sticky skin issues like band-aid residue, tar, spray adhesive and craft glue. Report Abuse
|||Nail polish remover, rubbing alcohol and paint thinner have all been proven to dissolve glue-based polymers. Use a cotton swab or fine mesh cloth to message the area and it should remove the stickiness.|||Nail polish remover, acetone, dissolves the gooey adhesive. You could try dabbing a acetone-soaked cotton ball on the adhesive and sweeping the goo off with it. |||get a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol and rub the sticky stuff , it should come right off!|||rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball
