What is the best foundation to use on pale skin?

I cannot find any foundation that will match my skin tone. Help?|||I suggest you try loose mineral makeup. I love MAD Minerals.

Mineral makeup is so easy and versatile and it is very easy to customize your very own shade/tone of foundation.|||Here is a guide I found that suggests tones when you select your face shape.. http://www.laurenscarlet.tv/makeup/5-03_鈥?/a>

Guide to Applying Foundation

The right foundation will even out your skin tone and blend away small imperfections giving the impression of flawless skin. But if you get it wrong the effect can be a disaster.

Step by Step to Getting it Right

First choose your format. You must match your product to your skin type. An oil free foundation for oily skin, a moisturizing base for dry skin or a foundation formulated for combination skin. All the main cosmetic houses have ranges formulated in this way and it really pays to get it right. A formula that incorporates a Sun Protection Factor of at least 15 will protect your skin from the ageing effects of the sun. This will really pay dividends in years to come.

Choosing a Shade.

Then choose your colour. The biggest and most common mistake is to choose a shade too far away from your natural skin tone. The best result will come from applying the shade closest to your natural colouring. You can choose a shade just slightly darker or slightly fairer but that is as far as you should go.

To apply.

Begin with a clean face and hands. Try to arrange your daily routine so that you apply moisturizer about 20 minutes before foundation. This will allow your skin to absorb the moisturizer before applying foundation.

Blot excess moisturizer or foundation will slide off your skin.

Apply a concealer in exactly the same shade as your skin tone to the dark areas under your eyes, around your nose and to any skin blemishes. Apply a medicated concealer to any spots, Tea Tree concealers are great for this and will really help to heal and conceal.

Using a sponge or your finger tips apply dots of foundation to your cheeks, chin, forehead and the tip of your nose.

Using the sponge or your finger tips blend the dots together. Pay special attention to the jaw and hairline to make sure there is no obvious line where the foundation stops.

Set your foundation with powder straight away.

Tips:

You don%26#039;t have to put foundation all over your face. You can put apply just to problem areas if you like.

Try a tinted moisturizer if you don%26#039;t like the made-up look of foundation. This is especially good for young dewy skin.

If you have not tried using a cosmetic sponge it is well worth a go. But make sure you keep it clean as a sponge is a perfect breeding ground for bacteria.|||I%26#039;ve got fair skin and both:

Revlon %26quot;beyond natural%26quot; (in the lightest shade) (it adjusts to your natural skin tone, so it looks 100% natural)

and

Revlon %26quot;New complexion%26quot; (ivory beige)

make my skin look amazing. They don%26#039;t make you look fake or %26quot;caked on%26quot; or unnatural at all. JUST natural and flawless!

Try them they are really worth it. %26lt;3|||I%26#039;m super pale and I use Bare Escentuals foundation in Fair, which is the lightest shade they make.|||I have very pale skin and I use Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Foundation in Ivory, 10. I love it!
