What is the best foundation and powder for acne skin?

Right now I am using MAC foundation. Im not sure if that just makes me skin more oily and give me more acne.. What is the best foundation and powder for acne skin? I really like the full coverage look. But I also don%26#039;t want to look plastic. Something that feels nice on your skin and covers everything? Thanks!|||Oil-free, matte or semi-matte foundations are best, because they are least likely to aggravate the acne. However, these do not cover or last as well as the oily foundations, they are more difficult to apply and tend to collect around skin blemishes. Loose transparent powders applied over the oil-free foundation gives longer coverage. For skin with many comedones, sheer foundations are best. Inflamed acne needs moderate coverage, acne scars may need a cake foundation with minimum oil. Water-based creams or alcohol-based liquids can be used under the foundation. If medicated gels are applied they need to be allowed to dry before the foundation is used.








If your skin is not dark you can go with a translucent shade, which will not affect the look of foundation or concealer. A colored formulation gives added coverage. Be sure to stick with a yellow-based powder (no pink tones) for the most natural look. Be sure that the color matches the foundation as well as possible.





There are three types of powder, pressed, wet-to-dry, or loose. All types are great for covering with loose being the lightest and wet-to-dry being the heaviest.|||i have oily skin too, and people that say that mac makes it worse, they are wrong. It does not make your skin more oily. Mac foundations have an spf in them which protect your skin against sun damage.


mac powders also work really well for me, i use mac studio fix liquid, and mac studio fix powder. In NC 15. if you like full coverage use both, and if you want less coverage just use the powder :)|||i use rimmel london stay matte foundation- so far- it%26#039;s really good. I use monistat chafing gel as a primer and it%26#039;s amazing (it really makes my skin soft and keeps my foundation fresh. Sometimes after, i%26#039;ll put mineral foundation on. I use maybeliene and it works VERY well!!! it%26#039;s light and doesn%26#039;t clog pores


ps- i have very oily skin and get frequent breakouts- but i find that this works great with my face along with oil blotting sheets|||Revlon Color stay for oily combination skin works well for me and it%26#039;s affordable|||MAC has been known to cause breakouts..switch to powder/mineral based makeup like bare essectials..if u have oily skin.|||try almay,maybeline,or avon
