How do I help my boyfriend clear up his skin?

I wouldn%26#039;t mind that he had blackheads and pimples except for the fact that he doesn%26#039;t bother with any kind of cleansing routine. It%26#039;s pretty awful and I know if he%26#039;d put some effort into his skin it%26#039;d be great but I don%26#039;t know how to let him know that.|||Here is the deal - facial blemishes are not caused by a lack of cleaning. It is an overactive sweat / oil gland that produces too much.

Get him to do the following thing every morning -

1. switch from shaving cream to daily wash Noxzema skin cream and to apply it to his entire face - he just shaves like normal.

2. take a daily multivitamin with at least 15 mg of zinc (needed for secondary sexual characteristics in young men) this is particularly important if he does not eat a lot of green vegetables. This is extracted from a M.D. guide to skin conditions for actual treatment options.

3. Purchase a red light bulb (s) and have him replace a major light in a room that he actually spends time in. Red light - actually kills much of the bacteria that can cause the black heads. I stole this from a Danish researcher.....

4. Finally and I mean this with all compassion - tell morons who believe skin blemishes are caused from not washing to go get bent....I watched an OCD young woman wash the skin off her face because her parents told her that. If it were simply a by-product of cleaning in would not be simple to treat - dah!!!|||Simply present him with a bar of soap and lead him to the sink. Or you could dump him and get with a guy who is into personal grooming. On second thought, what kind of nasty would date a guy like this? Maybe you two deserve each other.|||Say WASH YOUR FREAKING FACE !

he should get the idea.
