Is it very painful when the needle punctures your skin and vein, when donating blood?

For example, how is it compared to the puncture you get when simply giving a little sample of blood for a test?|||Its the very same feeling. The needle is a slight bit bigger then if you were just going for lab test, but never the less its the same.

Thank you for donating!

Good Luck!

ps remember to eat and drink the cookie, often times when giving blood you feel a wee bit dizzy after ... the sugar boost will help with that!|||If I don%26#039;t look and talk about other things, most of the time I don%26#039;t even feel it. The person taking your blood has done it thousands of times. Even a brand new person has had plenty of training. Just relax and find something to distract yourself.|||In my experiance of giving and taking blood,I have heard and I must say , it is very nuch the same feeling. There is a slight pinch, minimal discomfot.Bee sting is worse.|||It%26#039;s not bad. The same or less painful than giving blood. It can get a little uncomfortable towards the end, but it%26#039;s not bad.|||same.

exactly the same. only hurts for a second. donate that blood.|||I don%26#039;t think it%26#039;s painful at all, hurts way less than a shot.
