How do I get rid of this red skin patch?
Most of my skin complexion is fine, but I have this red patch on my upper left cheek that I CAN hide with makeup, but it%26#039;s a hassle. How did it get there, and how do I get rid of it?|||You need to get this checked out at the doc to find out what it is before you do anything. It could be rosacea or it could be a dry skin patch, eczema or something else but see the doc for a diagnosis.|||If it is new...then it may be excema or a rash. Either way try some hyrdcortisone cream 1%. You can get it for about $2 at the dollar store or walmart and it works for me on a lot of things like excema. If you have always had it then it%26#039;s probably a birthmark and you cant get rid of it just cover it up.|||Red skin could be a sign of skin cancer.Go to your doctor and either have it frozen off or ointment. If you get it frozen off it will go away quicker. Also you need to start wearing sunscreen everyday.|||Hard to say with just those few details. Could be just the weather, as it gets cooler and dryer, skin acts weird as well. Be safe and see a dermatologist, never second guess something that is part of you.
