My morrocan euromastyc has some sort of fungi looking skin on sides of his mouth. Any ideas as to what it is?

I have a morrocan euromastyc lizard that has this skin type of growth on the sides of his mouth, that seems to be growing. Sometimes it looks like a fungi, sometimes it looks like dead skin. Is there ay idea as to what it is?|||take it to a vet|||If it%26#039;s whitish colored, it could be either unshed skin or salt buildup. Take him to a herp vet to be sure.|||Probably stomatitis or mouthrot. The mouth must be treated and the animal started on a regimen of appropriate systemic antibiotics. The animal%26#039;s environment should be modified as necessary to aid in recovery. This happens frequently when the immune system is depressed b/c of something being off in the environment (nutrition, temperature, etc).

See links for more details.|||this may be a salt coming from the sinus
