What are some home remedies for some dead skin flaking off of your face?

I just got out of the shower, I ran out of apricot scrub (darn it), so I had to wash my face with soap, it dries the skin and flakes a bunch off at once unfortunately. And I can%26#039;t exactly run to the store for an exfoliating pad at the moment, any in-home ideas would be much appreciated.|||Make a sugar and water paste and exfoliate with that. :]|||mix some baking soda with a few drops of water to form a paste and use it to gently exfoliate your face.|||make a sugar scrub with sugar and water to exfoliate dead skin|||u can take any kind of cream cleanser u have and mix some sugar in with it. worked for mee:)
