How can you tell good makeup colors for your skin?

I%26#039;m looking for a guide to tell me which shades of makeup work best for my skin tone. I%26#039;m sorta between olive-fair skinned (not too dark, but not pale porcelain white, either). Any help will be greatly appreciated. Serious replies only, nothing inappropriate, please!|||You can go to any local makeup store and ask for a professional opinion. You might have to buy some of their products but usually they%26#039;re answers will be more helpful than the Internet. Good luck! =)|||get the book %26quot;hair and makeup%26quot; by maria claire. i have all her beauty books, and they really help... ok so ive done modeling, so i know a lot about makeup. if your complection is light, dont try dark eyeliner because it wont look natural. i think with your shade of skin, you should try brown eyeliner. do not use bright colored eye shadow. try using a deeper red lipgloss (this will make your lips look bigger) or perhaps a thin lip liner. try a light bronzer, this will make your complection look a lot nicer. if you would like a guide to makeup, i highley suggest maria claire, her books have detailed descriptions and step by step instructions. they also have wonderful pictures.

hope that helped! xoxo ** Janna**|||well i think if you use shadows, any color would look good, besides black or charcol grey. just keep it light, you dont want to much, or else youd look like a drag. i love purples, golds, a silverish shimmer. all pastel colors.... never put dark blue, it always reminds me of the lady in drew carey lol|||Gold shades will look good on you. If you are talking about eye shadow and eye liner, I would suggest deep green and brown-
