There are these little pieces of skin that just stick up no matter what I do to them; I%26#039;ve tried ripping them off, biting them off, clipping them off, and yet nothing seems to work.|||moisturize. lots of lotion after you wash your hands. lotion after a shower. when you go outside and it%26#039;s cold. moisturize.|||It sounds like a vitamin defficiency - I get this when I don%26#039;t eat well. I think it%26#039;s to do with vitamin c. Eat loads of kiwi fruits, boiled potatoes (with skins on), oranges, cold water with lemon juice.... They should go away quite fast - in a week or so.|||go to a clinic|||cudicle cutters, tweezers, nail file to make the area smooth. try that|||Always use hand lotion.|||the cuticle can become damaged.
do not bite and do not rip them off! - you can tear the cuticle into the quick and get an infection
for an at home manicure:
soak hands or just the fingertips in warm soapy water
carefully trim cuticles
use Vitamin E oil on the cuticles

Are your hands around moisture-wicking things a lot (like paper and constant hand washing?) I would get a good hand creme or petroleum jelly.|||I would go to a health clinic,i wouldnt mess with the skin alone,you may cause serious irratation to that particular area.
